I was compelled to paint this after the January 6th insurrection.

I cry for our nation still so divided.

I cry for the death of truth, responsibility, integrity and principles.

I cry for the respect, kindness and understanding that we no longer show one another.

For racism, bigotry and anti-semitism that is still allowed to exist in this world today.

I cry for our children and their future and for all that God has created that we have destroyed.
