49 years after the US Supreme Court ratified Roe V Wade to protect women’s constitutional right to choose what was best for their own bodies, this right was revoked—handed not back to women—but to the politicians of the states in which they reside. Creating this canvas was one of my greatest challenges.

However, I felt that the issue of abortion was too important to stay silent.  I hope not to offend but rather to create thoughtful discussion about this issue.  Not to choose a side but only to consider individual circumstances and to provide more support and less judgement of each other as women. 

Until we take time to listen and accomplish understanding we remain divided.
