We Hear, but We Don't Listen
Inspired by the Simon and Garfunkel song “Sounds of Silence.” History repeats itself. This mixed media piece has actual newspaper articles in it from the 1930’s and the 1970’s when we made of the same mistakes that we’re repeating today. The statue of Liberty and a profile of Lincoln are ghosted in the background.
