Fallen

Fallen

$145.00

This cross had become weak at its very base causing it the fall. It’s open to interpretation, however, I painted this as a metaphor for people claiming to be good Christians all the while seeking to gain reward both personally and politically from ideas which are in direct opposition to their claim of being a good Christian. For example, I continue to struggle to understand those who invaded our Capitol in the name of Jesus Christ with a cross in one hand and a Confederate flag in the other.
